Free Gas Central Heating Grant

The first time central heating grant is now available to homeowners and private tenants who are in receipt of a qualifying benefit, tax credit or allowance registered at that address and have never had gas central heating at your property.

The scheme provides full grants not loans. It does not have to be paid back.

Under the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) scheme, energy suppliers are obliged to contribute towards energy-saving improvements for any household likely to be living in fuel poverty.
